At our Berlin office in Prenzlauer Berg, we have plenty of room for growth. Our office language is English, with teammates from more than 30 nationalities.

An enthusiastic Frontend Developer is needed to join our growing Development team.

As a part of the team, you will support UI/UX designers in developing customer-facing websites and apps. You will also work closely with the Marketing team to create & update content as well as help optimize it for SEO purposes.

Who you are

You have web development experience and are comfortable writing modern JavaScript code, including experience with React, as well as hands-on experience in TypeScript. You have a strong understanding of CSS and HTML, and you are also willing to learn new technologies. You want to grow within a role and take ownership of projects. You are a quick, self-motivated learner, and you work well both independently and as part of a team.

What you’ll achieve

• Work within the 3T Web Team to deliver public-facing web applications
• Create & maintain pages on our WordPress website
• Build static websites with React & TypeScript
• Develop clean, maintainable, reusable cross-browser code.
• Optimize web assets for maximum speed and scalability
• Help design and build new web applications to support our Products & Services roadmap

What we need you to bring to the table

• Two years of professional experience with modern software development techniques for building modular and testable web applications.
• Professional experience with WordPress and the creation of custom themes.
• Production experience with React (including up-to-date knowledge of hooks, state management, and data-fetching conventions).
• Clear capabilities with CSS & modern styling solutions.
• An understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
• An attitude of continuous improvement, and an ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• A willingness to keep up to date with, and continuously integrate industry best practices.

Extra credit if you also have…

• Professional experience with Vue.js, PHP, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of Material UI and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with deploying applications on the AWS platform.
• Comfort with setting up and deploying Linux-based servers, DNS, and CDNs.
