Hours: 40 Hours a Week (Mon-Fri Flexitime) Hybrid/Remote (Berlin/London/Cambridge)

About us

3T Software Labs has one mission: to build the finest NoSQL tools available. Over the last six years we have firmly established ourselves at the forefront of NoSQL innovation and the NoSQL tooling market with over 400,000 active users of our industry leading IDE,  Studio 3T. About the job

As Product Marketing Manager your responsibility is to position the product effectively and drive the growth of the Studio 3T product and its associated tools. By deeply understanding our customers’ problems, needs and workflows, you’ll help drive better adoption and more productive usage of the 3T offering. You’ll get to work with brilliant developers and insightful marketing and sales professionals to help data teams around the world do more in less time and to get more satisfaction doing it.

What you’ll do:

  • Learn our tools and customers inside-out: you’ll translate technical features into compelling benefits to shape our product positioning and messaging across various audiences, which will guide our communications and empower our Marketing and Sales teams
  • Identify demand gen strategies and channels that will drive new team adoption and increase retention – while iteratively testing to validate your ideas as you go
  • Through constant customer engagement, and in close collaboration with Product Management, you’ll develop insights into the ever bigger data management challenges that businesses face as data volumes and complexity increase
  • Help create innovative, integrated marketing campaign concepts to drive awareness amongst prospects and customers across multiple channels, generating leads and opportunities from awareness through to conversion and then renewal
  • Ensure campaigns are built and executed around strategic business objectives, with a clear understanding of the target market and desired KPIs
  • Based on what you’ve identified, develop a well-structured calendar of campaigns, projects or experiments that supports our strategic objectives, sales prospecting and upsell / cross-sell goals, across segment, vertical and regional markets
  • Analyze and track metrics to help you optimize conversion rates across all channels
  • Work with internal colleagues on campaign deliverables – communicating clearly on the assets required, and timeframes for completion
  • Take part in monthly Sales and Marketing calls, to communicate the vision of key campaigns to the sales organization, and deliver frequent updates to maximize engagement
  • Collect and use data to evaluate existing campaigns and inform future campaigns
  • Track key KPIs to measure performance / ROI, and report back into the business

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B, tech-focused organisation in a marketing role with a proven track record of generating demand and driving user acquisition and retention
  • You know enough about all things marketing to see the big picture – paid search, social, email marketing, content marketing, and SEO – but it’s your strategic and analytical talents and ability to get to the source of customer headaches that we’re really after
  • You are data-driven and measure the right metrics when you plan, test, deliver and evaluate multiple projects/campaigns/experiments – and with that, experience of creating dashboards and reports is essential
  • Experience of working closely with developers and technical teams
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to work with data and insights to produce outstanding campaigns
  • Thorough working knowledge and experience with a CRM tool such as HubSpot and commanding fluency with Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of the database industry, SQL and/or NoSQL, would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • What is essential is that you love solving problems, and that you get genuine thrills from brilliant technological solutions

Teams skills desired:

  • Experience in collaborating with and building strong working relationships with multiple teams across the business, in an international environment
  • A creative thinker with the initiative to come up with recommendations that will improve processes or ways of doing things
  • Ability to make dependable decisions in a rapidly changing environment
  • Good at handling time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines, with a positive mindset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive data insight and analysis skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and resourceful
  • Comfortable working as both an individual and within a team
  • Dedicated work ethic and desire to succeed
  • Ability to excel in a remote working environment, with whichever conferencing tech is available

What we offer

  • The chance to lead the product marketing of our powerful and widely loved MongoDB IDE/GUI products and make a real impact globally on how data professionals achieve their best work
  • Competitive salary
  • Flexible working from home policy
  • 30 days holiday allowance
  • A great space to work: our new office space comes with free breakfast, fruit, snacks, soft drinks, and beer, as well as fitness classes on Mondays, yoga on Thursdays, free German courses, and the occasional free pizza lunch
