New to Studio 3T? Read our Getting Started guide.

With the release of Studio 3T 5.3.0, Pro and Enterprise users can now use SQL to query MongoDB!

The new SQL query feature allows you to use basic and advanced SQL expressions and operators to query MongoDB and execute them with one click (or a keyboard shortcut).

You also get the added benefit of seeing how your SQL query “translates” to a MongoDB query – a great way to learn the MongoDB query language.

This feature is the ultimate leg up especially for newcomers getting used to the MongoDB query language, but all Pro and Enterprise users can now have the best of both worlds with the usual Studio 3T benefits of In-Place Editing and Read-Only Mode.
