How do I give Studio 3T feedback? I want to tell them what I want. #Studio3T_AMA

Posted on: 13/07/2022 by DJ Walker-Morgan

Q: How do I give Studio 3T feedback? I want to tell them what I want.

Welcome to the latest Studio 3T Ask Manatees Anything – #Studio3T_AMA. Want to know how to use Studio 3T to make your MongoDB life better? Just tweet and use #Studio3T_AMA or email [email protected].

A: We’re always listening for your feedback and input into what you need. We’ve set out to give you the best ROI of any MongoDB tool. If we can save you more time, then we’ll dive in and see what we can do. To enable that, we have a number of channels for getting in touch. In this brief guide, we’ll show you where they are, how they run and what kind of feedback they are built to handle best.

The Studio 3T Feedback Page

First, we have the Feedback page. You can get to directly this Studio 3T’s Feedback icon in the toolbar. You can also go directly to https://studio3t.com/feedback/ with your browser.

If you have a particular feature you want, then you want to go straight to the Feature request tab. This plugs directly into our customer feedback system.

Feature Request Tab on the Studio 3T Feedback Page

User Voice in the Studio 3T Feedback Page

There you can describe ideas for new functionality and watch progress on those ideas. You’ll even get email when the status changes on your ideas and requests, and you can vote for other people’s requests.

There’s another two tabs on the Feedback page, let’s quickly step through them:

Technical Support Tab on the Studio 3T Feedback Page

If you are after technical support or just guidance in how to use Studio 3T, you can put your request in this section.

I just want to get in touch Tab on the Studio 3T Feedback Page

If your feedback doesn’t fall into those two categories, we have the “I just want to get in touch” tab. This a free-form space for your question or feedback.

The Studio 3T Research Program

Next, there’s the Studio 3T Research Program. The program lets you can join a pool of users who we call on during development. Whether we are developing new features, planning our future roadmap or looking for input when we have a new user experience available, we may call on you. Sign up there if you want to have a voice in the future developments of Studio 3T.

The 3T Community

Finally, if you have ideas but want to discuss them with other Studio 3T users first, there’s the 3T Community. It’s an open forum for all things Studio 3T. You can chat with your peers and compare notes on how you use Studio 3T. We keep a watchful eye over discussions there. Don’t be surprised if we reach out to you there to follow up on feedback.

So that’s three ways to give Studio 3T feedback. We’re always listening and when your idea makes it into Studio 3T, we’ll give you a shoutout in the release notes.
