Now that Studio 3T has moved to a new seat-based license, the License Manager is the web portal where you can easily manage your Studio 3T licenses and seats.
License owners can assign (or reassign) seats by inviting users via email. If you’re purchasing for personal use, you can claim your license in a few clicks.

If you’ve purchased a Studio 3T license for personal use
1. After purchase, you should receive an email with a link to claim your license. Click on link in the first step.
2. This will take you to the Studio 3T website:
Click on Claim License again. This will take you to the Studio 3T License Manager.
3. Click on Sign up and complete the registration process.
4. You should automatically be redirected to your My License page.
If you’ve purchased a Studio 3T license for another user
1. Click on the link in the first step of the mail we sent you.
2. This will take you to the Studio 3T website:
Click on Claim License again. This will take you to the Studio 3T License Manager.
3. Click on Sign up to create an account. Choose the email address and password you want to use.
4. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be redirected to the License Manager. It will look like this:
You can see it says “1 Seat Used”. As you entered your email during the purchase process, it’s assumed that you were the end user, so you need to change that.
5. Click on Manage Users.
6. You will see your own details in that row. Click Edit.
7. Then, in this next screen, you can update your role. Click the cog icon under Roles.
8. Amend your role from “Admin, Owner, User” to only “Admin, Owner”. This frees up the seat that you bought for the intended user, so that you can allocate it to them.
Untick the User role, hit OK, then Save Changes.
6. Now go to the menu on the left, where it says “Invite Users”. There, select the edition you would like to assign from the dropdown.
7. Enter the end user’s email address and hit Send Invitation. They should be sent an email with instructions on how to claim their Studio 3T invite.
If you’ve received a Studio 3T invite from another user
1. From the email invite, click on the link in the first step of the email.
2. This will take you to the Studio 3T website.
Then, click on Claim Invite. This will take you to the Studio 3T License Manager.
3. Click on Sign up to create a License Manager account. Choose the email address and password you want to use.
4. You should automatically be redirected to your My License page.
If you’re still using the old license key, your Studio 3T experience will remain uninterrupted. The license key will work normally for the duration of your subscription period. In case you need to reinstall your old license key, here’s the old installation guide.
