In this guide, we cover how to install Studio 3T on Windows.
Prerequisites
If you are connecting to a cloud-based or remote installation of MongoDB, you do not need to install MongoDB locally. Move on to Install Studio 3T for Windows.
If, on the other hand, you want to a local MongoDB database, install the latest MongoDB community edition. To install MongoDB on Windows, follow these steps: download the Windows Installer for MongoDB Community Edition from the MongoDB site. Then run the downloaded installer. It will set up a service to keep MongoDB running for you when you restart your system.

Install Studio 3T for Windows
Studio 3T is available for Windows 64-bit systems.
- Download the latest Studio 3T version.
- Start the installer by opening the file.
- Follow the directions on the screen.
An MSI installer for 64-bit systems is also available on request for system administrators and enterprises deploying Studio 3T Ultimate.
