Content & Brand Lead

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Hours: 40 Hours a Week (Mon-Fri), Hybrid/Remote (London)
Salary Range: £60 – £80k

This is currently a remote role with hybrid work in London/Berlin typically on a quarterly basis. Given the growth in our UK based Sales and Marketing teams, we plan to make this role flexible/hybrid in the future – candidates should be comfortable commuting to London once a week.

Role overview

We’re looking for an experienced Content & Brand Lead to shape and deliver our evolving content and brand strategy, oversee our owned channels, and manage a growing team of talented content specialists and external partners.

The ideal candidate will know how to build and execute a full-funnel content strategy to:

  1. Grow organic traffic from end users and enterprise decision makers to drive product trials, adoption, and retention. 
  2. Generate high-quality inbound leads, support outbound efforts, and accelerate deal velocity with targeted content that engages enterprise audiences through the funnel.
  3. Own and optimize the website as a core brand and demand channel, enhancing visibility, user experience, and conversions to support business goals.

This is both an individual contributor and management role, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver impactful brand and content initiatives.

What you’ll do

Brand and Content Strategy 

  • Lead 3T’s brand strategy and ensure a consistent tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity across all channels as our brand continues to evolve.
  • Develop and own the content strategy for key audiences throughout the buyer/customer journey, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to create content aligned with core product narratives, launches, and messaging.
  • Partner with our Demand Generation Lead to produce content that fuels campaigns and meets performance targets.

Owned Channels Management

  • Oversee all of 3T’s owned channels, including our website, blog, social media, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Own website performance, managing relationships with external agencies responsible for website hosting, optimizing, development and design. 

Content Creation & Performance

  • Plan, create, and review high-quality content tailored for our key audiences including technical users and IT decision makers. 
  • Own organic traffic as a key performance indicator, leveraging insights to continuously optimize content and drive measurable growth.
  • Track, analyze, and report on content and channel performance, identifying areas for experimentation and improvement.

Team & Resource Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of content specialists, including a technical writer focused on end-user content to drive product downloads, onboarding and adoption, and a thought leadership writer focused on top of funnel and decision maker content. 
  • Manage external partners and agencies to support content production, website management, and design efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, engaging subject matter experts (SMEs) and influencers to support content creation and distribution.

We’re seeking a candidate with

  • Experience: Proven experience in content management and creation in B2B software, and a good understanding of the role of content in supporting Enterprise sales. Strong understanding of MongoDB and related technologies would be preferable, but not essential. Experience with content management systems (CMS) is preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing a team of content specialists, with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategy: Experience owning and creating a comprehensive content strategy that drives business growth.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable writing and proofing technical content for a developer audience as well as value-based content for decision makers, at different stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally, with experience working closely with Sales and Product teams.
  • ABM: Experience in personalizing content for ABM (Account-Based Marketing) would be preferable but not essential.
