How can I purchase Studio 3T?

Studio 3T offers a yearly subscription option.

During your subscription you will receive every software update we release within the dates of your subscription. Licenses can be purchased in our online shop and are delivered electronically via email. After you complete your order you’ll receive an email containing your invoice, and another email with steps to follow, to claim your license.

What is a yearly subscription?

Yearly subscription licenses are per-user for 1, 2 or 3 years and requires manual renewal. Volume discounts are available. See our Pricing page for more details. If you do not renew your license by the last date of your subscription, you will no longer have access to the software. Studio 3T has renewal reminders in-app, as well as a dedicated Renewal Team ([email protected]) to assist in the renewal process.

Can I view the EULA?

Can I see your Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions?

Sure! You’ll find the Privacy Policy on the website, and other Terms and Conditions on the Legal page.

Do you offer support?

Standard support (respond within 48 business hours, email only) is included in Basic and Pro license purchases. Priority support (respond within 1 working day) is automatically included in all Ultimate license purchases. You can upgrade annual license seats to Studio 3T Ultimate using the license manager.

Do I need a separate license for each machine?

Each user may use their license on a maximum of two machines and/or VMs in parallel, across all supported OSs.

What features are available in the trial?

The 30-day trial provides access to all the features of Studio 3T including the premium features available with the Studio 3T Pro and Studio 3T Ultimate licenses.

How can I send you my purchase order, or request a quote?

We’re happy to provide quotes or process purchase orders. Please contact us at [email protected] to enquire about this and we will be happy to help you to create a custom code for you so you can benefit from our volume discounts to ensure that you get the best deal. You can also create a purchase order by choosing the Purchase Order option during checkout in our online shop.

Can I upgrade?

Of course. Annual license users can upgrade any of their seats to from Basic to Pro and from Pro to Ultimate, using the License Manager.

Which product edition is best for me – Studio 3T Basic, Studio 3T Pro, or Studio 3T Ultimate?

Studio 3T Basic is perfect for development teams and individual developers who need a professional, always up-to-speed MongoDB client to explore and manage their NoSQL databases. Basic comes with features that enable you to work faster such as IntelliShell, a mongo shell with autocompletion, Aggregation Editor, the aggregation pipeline builder that lets you do it in stages, and three ways to explore MongoDB data.

Studio 3T Pro builds on top of Studio 3T Basic and adds premium features like SQL Query, which lets you use SQL to query MongoDB; Query Code, the built-in code generator that converts MongoDB and SQL queries to five languages; Schema Explorer, a handy tool for spotting structural outliers and anomalies in your data; Data Compare & Sync for comparing MongoDB collections on the fly, and SQL Import and Export capabilities.

Studio 3T Ultimate is designed for larger teams or MongoDB consultants who need to import Oracle to MongoDB, or those with greater requirements for enterprise-level features such as enhanced security via Kerberos or LDAP. If you are working with a MongoDB Enterprise deployment, Studio 3T Ultimate is the best MongoDB client for you! Studio 3T Ultimate is only available with an Annual license.

Studio 3T Free is designed for occasional MongoDB users. It includes a simplified version of the Studio 3T GUI comprising of the Studio 3T Connection Manager and IntelliShell with flexible Table/Tree/JSON views and extensive auto-complete and error checking.

What is Studio 3T Free?

Studio 3T Free is a simplified GUI for MongoDB comprising of the Studio 3T Connection Manager and IntelliShell with flexible Table/Tree/JSON views. The IntelliShell view is complete with extensive auto-complete and error checking. Studio 3T Free also includes import/export wizards for mongodump/mongorestore operations for database backup and transport.

It is available on a free-forever license.
